| v. 9 Revealed to Apostles |
|
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. God has revealed them to us (this is a reference to the Apostles).
Wouldn't it be wonderful if Christians everywhere would believe this scripture. How sad that we do not. Lord, help us to believe what we say we believe. If we were to do so, it would change the world in a moment. Why can't we believe that the Spirit has revealed these things to the apostles? Why can't we believe that these things are for us now? We can't even know that much about what they are because of our unbelief. Yet, it is clear that we are not waiting for God; He is searching out those who will believe Him. These things are being revealed by that same Holy Spirit even in this very hour. There are glories that God has for His children, through Christ, that we have not begun to touch. Jesus paid the price, and we are living beneath our privilege.
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
