Agnosticism ’s Worldview of a supreme being:
The Agnostic religion denies that anyone can know anything about God.
This cult denies God's ability to reveal Himself and also denies His will to human beings.
The supreme being, to Agnostics is humanity. Each person becomes his or her own god, since the Agnostic dogma claims to know that God is out of touch with everyone on the planet. There is a tendency, in Agnostic writings, to deify things like evolution, natural selection, nature, the universe, science, etc. |
Biblical Christianity’s Vision of God:

The Agnostic illusion is deceptive because, as with many deceptive lies, there is an element that is similar to the truth. The reality is that we do not know all about God. The Bible is very clear in telling us that we know in part. If we think that we know anything, we are only beginning to know the fullness of what God desires to reveal to us. God has revealed much to us, and those things are ours.
Biblical Christians believe that the Bible is revelation about God. They further believe what the Bible teaches regarding this revelation. No one can understand the Bible and what the Bible says about God unless the Holy Spirit reveals the meaning to them. The teachings in Scripture are very plain and require little interpretation, but the human mind is so vile that it will not receive the plain teachings of Scripture.
Whoever seeks God will find God. Jesus has often approached the unsaved directly, without a preacher or a Bible. When this happens, the things that Jesus says are always in keeping with the teachings of the Bible. God is not inconsistent. |
