Agnosticism ’s Worldview of the Works of Jesus:
Agnostics also vary in their view of the work of Jesus. None, of course, recognize His redemption.
You would be hard pressed to find an Agnostic who truly desires to be freed from his or her sin. In fact, most Agnostics re-define sin to please themselves, so they consider that a little self-improvement is what is in order. They don't recognize that they need Christ for this work. |
Biblical Christianity’s Vision of the Works of Jesus:

Agnostics close off further inquiry into the spiritual realm. They often try to convince others to follow their doctrine. In this way, they also stop others from entering into the fulfillment that can only be found in Jesus Christ, God's unique Son.
When Galileo talked to the other scientists about the true nature of the universe, those scientists would not look through his telescope. Without the telescope, the other scientists could not observe the cosmos with the same clarity as Galileo could observe it.
In the same way, the Agnostic refuses to have eyes to see in the spiritual realm. They do not love and respect their creator, which is the most serious sin of all. It is the sin against what Jesus called the chief commandment. From this sin flow all other sins. In fact, Christians fall short of the glory of God for not fully loving and respecting God, but the difference is that they come in humility, asking God to forgive them by the blood of Jesus. The Agnostic rejects Jesus, and, in so doing, rejects the Father.
Some Christians also use some of the Agnostic doctrine. They believe that God cannot speak to them or give them a vision. They limit God's ability in their minds and condemn anyone who is having a real experience with God. They do this in spite of the fact that the Bible repeatedly tells us that God speaks and communicates with us. |
