The Trinity is rejected in Islam.

Christ is not revered as God, but is only a prophet, and Mohamed is seen as greater than Christ.

Salvation is by works under Islam, not by grace through faith as Jesus taught.

Moslems are not saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

 
While there are elements of biblical Christianity in Islam, there is no unity between Islam and Christianity.

Moslems may claim to believe the Bible or to be just like Christians when they are trying to recruit Christians to Islam, but they try very hard to discredit the Bible and Christianity.

Islam is willingly ignorant of the totally lost condition of all human beings, the inability of human beings to do good works, and the one Holy Creator God's great gift of giving His one and only way of salvation through acceptance of the atoning work of His one, unique Son, Jesus Christ.  As a result of this willing ignorance, followers of this religion miss all the benefits of holiness, righteousness, peace, glory, love, and joy that can only be found through Jesus.  The sad result of their rebellion against God and His free salvation, which is through Christ, is that those who follow this course choose hell rather than heaven.  Pray for them.

The Islamic god is Allah.  Allah is considered merciful, but there is no emphasis on a personal relationship with Allah as there is with Jehovah.
