Bias

Some evolutionists say that they aren't afraid of the truth, but is that really true? A dedicated evolutionist is unlikely to read a web site like this with an open mind, because evolutionists who are really dedicated to evolutionism have their minds closed to anything that contradicts their preconceived notions about evolution. Everyone with a mind open to God does find Him. It's amazing the mental gymnastics that some people go through in order to deny the authority of the Almighty. For evolutionists, the truth would set them free, but only if they were to be open to truth.

Evolutionism is not really the main problem, although the hypothesis of evolutionism does indeed cause many problems. Evolutionism is a symptom of a more basic problem, the problem of rational-lie-zed speculation. Rational-lie-zed speculation is one of the basic precepts of the known as Secularism, but it is a problem so common that it can be found in just about any group. The term Rational-lie-zed fantasy may be more accurate, because these arguments are fantasies and lies. Rational-lie-zed fantasy is the belief that the human mind can create knowledge without the benefit of observation. It is a form of reasoning based on the belief that the human mind is the source of wisdom and knowledge, that by some process the human mind can actually synthesize knowledge. It is common for people to believe that this supposed ability to create knowledge is a kind of self-generated revelation.

Some things can be proved by deductive logic and observation alone. That is why we are able to manufacture products with a fairly high degree of consistency. That is why we bother to try to figure out what went wrong when an accident has taken place. By mathematical logic and observation alone, we can know that God created the universe, and we can know quite a bit about God, too. By mathematical logic and observation alone, we can know that the creation of what we see around us by the process of evolution would be a scientific impossibility.

So, although there is much that we can observe using empirical science, there are three ways of interpreting what we can know from empirical science:

human-based revelation,

demon-based revelation,

God-based revelation.

Ungodly people are forced to hold on tightly to some basic presuppositions.  These presuppositions are just simple-minded assumptions.  They are filters and a way to censor out any information that supports the existence of God.  They set up a web of rules to filter out God.  They will only accept those things that conform to Naturalism, materialism, and uniformitarianism.  Naturalism claims that God does nothing.  Materialism claims that there is no God or spiritual realm.  Uniformitarianism claims that there was not creation and that there was no violent worldwide flood, as the Bible and numerous other historical accounts record.  Whatever they observe that does not conform to this complex filter is censored.  The way that it is censored can take several forms.  The ungodly may boldly proclaim that, though the data appears to support God's version and refute the version of the ungodly, yet it still must be interpreted to mean just the opposite of what it does mean.  A backup method that ungodly people use is to prophecy that in the future, science will be able to explain what they see as an anomaly.  If that fails, they will hide the data, set it aside, or lie to keep the public from knowing the truth.  The data clearly demolishes the story of the ungodly and clearly supports the reality of the Creator God, His Bible, and His abiding Presence in His people.  When confronted with the obvious, a closed-minded ungodly person says, "I can't understand it."  They are willingly ignorant because they refuse to hold God in their knowledge.  The reality is that these people, for whatever reason, don't what to know the Creator.  They don't want to truly know Jesus, their Creator.
