Can New Information Can Arise In Genomes By Duplication And Mutation?
NO!
Duplication duplicates the information that is already there. Mutation removes some information or makes it useless. Let's say that I give you a book that you already own. This is duplication. That gives you no new information. Let's say that I give you a book that you already own and take a gun and shoot holes in it. This is duplication plus mutation. Have I given you any new information?
The duplication and mutation argument is an example of the religion of Evolutionism grasping at straws. It is an example of intelligent scientists who look at proof against Evolutionism, but all they can see is Evolutionism. It is an example of mental filters. This line of irrationality displays the ability of presuppositions and mental paradigms to make intelligent people blind to the facts. It is a prime example of confirmation bias.
