Christian Cult
There are many counterfeits of the Kingdom of God. Some of these counterfeits are actual cults. They are not Christian Cults, but they may be cults that use the name Christian. Some cults call put in Christian words into their name. Some call themselves some type of church, which would make you think that they are Christian. Some of them use the name of Jesus Christ in their name--also a method that is used to confuse. Every good gift that comes from God can be and is counterfeited. The real is real. The fake is fake. A culture war is brewing in which spiritual principalities and powers are trying to eliminate the called-out people of God. Many cults coordinate their efforts to try to make this happen. Some people try to make a case that Christians are a threat. Some of the organizations or philosophies that are cults have people in their leadership speaking of a so called "Jesus cult" or "Christian Cult." That is a silly term because it is using fuzzy definitions of the word, Christian. Most Americans, for instance, think that they are Christians. Yet, there is a small minority who even know what it would be to follow Jesus Christ. Of these who know that theory of what it would be to follow Jesus, there is a small percentage who actually do follow Jesus. It would be possible to label all these who are not really following Christ as Christian Cults. However, when representatives of cults such as Evolutionism attack "Christians," they generally attack those who are actually following Christ. These are the ones who are more likely to apply the term, Christian Cult, to those who follow Jesus. They imply that following Jesus makes an organization a cult. Following Jesus does not make an organization a cult. Just the opposite is true. Christians can be immature. They can be confused. They can get pulled into cults. They can be influenced by Cults. Whole churches and organizations sometimes adopt some extra-biblical doctrines from cults or false prophets. Being wrong on some point does not turn a church into a Christian cult, as SeekFind.net defines cults. There are many cults that try to appear to be Christian. But Christian churches are not cults.
