Eckankar’s Worldview of the Solution to the Basic Human Problem:

Eckankar teaches that every person is Soul, a spark of God sent to this world to gain spiritual experience.  Salvation is liberation and God-realization, and is based on self-effort, not on Jesus Christ.

Their solution consists of spiritual exercises of ECK: meditation, prayer, concentration, mental exercises, mantras, past-life discovery, and conscious dreaming.

Through these exercises, they hope for altered states of consciousness and exploration of other spiritual worlds, as well as finding solutions to life’s problems, spiritual growth, and a more meaningful life.
