Can there be love without God?
For those who think that they can have love without God, John, answers the question: "No."
Without God, there is no love. Are you missing out on love?
For those who think that they can have God without having love, the answer is also, "No."
God is Love.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Romans 5:6-10 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
So we cannot have God without love or love without God or God without yielding our lives to Jesus. If you reject one, you reject all the others and you miss out.
