Human Potential Movement’s Worldview Of A Supreme Being

What is a cult?

The only sure way to avoid being deceived by a cult.

Human Potential Movement’s Worldview of a supreme being:

HPM misses the true God, our personal Father God who loves us.   HPM worships the god called "Self."  HPM looks to Self for success, happiness, and fulfillment.  HPM also teaches all is One—monism and HPM believes that man is a divine being.  It teaches pantheism, that we are all part of God so we are gods.

HPM thinks that god is the sum total of all that exists.  Sometimes, HPM gets mixed in with Christianity, and there can be various representations on what the HPM god is.  Since HPM embraces relativism, each person's concept of god is thought to be valid.
