Human Potential Movement’s Worldview Of Authority

What is a cult?

The only sure way to avoid being deceived by a cult.

Human Potential Movement’s Worldview of Authority:

HPM loses out on the true authority of the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit to unveil the interpretation of the Bible.  They also miss the authority of the biblical church order to safeguard revelation.

HPM rejects biblical concepts, claiming these would limit us.

HPM embraces relativism in that it thinks that each person creates his or he own "reality."  This, of course, is an unreal "reality."

Many books are recognized, such as "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, which actually has instructions in the last chapter for an ongoing séance, all wrapped up in acceptable psychobabble to make it sound scientific.
