Why is the pattern of Scripture so important?
These serve as a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was warned when he was about to complete the tabernacle. For He said, Be careful that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.
God has a pattern for eveything he does. That pattern is plainly written in God's Word. Many have gotten spiritually stuck when they ran into God's pattern and decided that they could not obey. Then, the rationizing started. Then, the theologies were developed. Then, they made excuses before the King of kings why they could not go into the Kingdom of God.
