\'Hope so\' Hope

Our hope is not a "hope so" hope.

Our hope is sure.

The hope that flows from the throne of God has a vision of what God is going to do.

This hope sees that God is good.

Hope is different from presumption.

God's hope is not based on wishful thinking but on the word of faith that comes from God's own mouth.

Hope never fails.

How it works:

  1. God leads. He speaks, whether through Scripture, another member of the Body of Christ, a still small voice, or some other means. God's leading always leads you into His Scriptural pattern, whether it is for your home, your church, your work, or any other part of your life.
  2. You hear and faith comes by hearing the utterance of God. In this process, you see yourself as the Christ in you, not the flesh. You see how you fit into the Body of Christ and you realize that you need Christ the Head and Christ the Body.
  3. This gives you access to the grace of God and God's grace flows to you.
  4. Grace does God's work through you if you will yield the members of your body to His leading.
  5. God rewards your work (it was the work that He does through you) as righteousness. He sows His good seed into your heart.
  6. Your heart changes in its very nature. It becomes softer to God and more like Jesus. (This is holiness.) It becomes more aware of Christ, more discerning, less easily fooled, less able to sin and more able to do righteousness. (This is redemption.)
