Over 24,000 New Testament Manuscripts Exist With No Major Variances.  There Is No Other Book Like This.

The oldest manuscript of the Bible is called, P52, dated approximately AD 125, thirty to sixty years after the words were originally written.  Over 5,000 Greek New Testament manuscripts exist with no major variances.  Over 19,000 additional Syriac, Latin, Coptic, and Aramaic New Testament manuscripts exist and are available for comparison.  In spite of this, some people erroneously think that there is some question as to what the original text says, which is foolishness, of course.

To highlight the slant of those who challenge the authenticity of the Bible, consider that writers such as Plato, Herodotus, Caesar and Tacitus, whose writings are preserved in 20 manuscripts at the most are not questioned.  Not only do they have very few manuscripts available, but the preserved manuscripts were created much later than the original; even the earliest one was created 1,000 years after the original. In spite of these facts, no classical scholar would claims that we don’t have essentially what they wrote.  Why do they challenge the Bible the way that they do?  Because they hate what the Bible says and they hate the God who is the real author of the Bible.
