Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed [Apokalupto: removal of a veil] from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; They know. They hold the truth. Yet, they choose to continue to disobey. They reject the free gift of righteousness, because they want to continue to do evil. For this reason, the wrath of God is unveiled from heaven against the ungodliness and unrighteousness. Godliness and righteousness are both free gifts. How foolish those people are who reject them!
