Scientology’s Worldview of Humanity:
Scientologists say that each person is basically good, an immortal, divine soul. They have a theory of the make up of human beings that runs counter to what the Bible says. The Scientologists say that each person has a soul, mind, and body, as opposed to Scripture, which says that each person has a spirit, soul, and body, with the mind being a part of the soul. In contrast to Scripture, Scientology says that the mind is the accumulation of all past experiences. |

Scripture says that the mind is to be subject to the human spirit, which is to be subject to the Holy Spirit rather than being subject to the body. The Scripture speaks of the renewing of the mind, which is in the passive voice indicating that it is something the Holy Spirit does as we yield to Him. |
