Scientology’s Worldview of the Human Problem:
Scientologists say that “engrams” are learned behaviors or conflicts from the past, including conflicts from supposed previous lifetimes and prenatal experiences. Scientologists say that these engrams keep individuals from realizing their own divinities.
In contrast, Biblical Christianity recognizes original sin that has been passed from Adam through generations to each person, and that each person does have a mind that needs to be renewed by the Spirit of God, but there are not previous lifetimes or reincarnation issues. Biblical Christianity recognizes reconciliation to God through Jesus, but does not say that each person will become a god. |
