Christians Aren\'t a Threat

The Supposed Threat from Bible-Believing Christians

As the owners of public education and the courts, the ungodly, have pushed out story after story of their dream of a fictitious threat from Bible-believing Christians.

They point to the violence of the non-Bible-believers in Ireland as evidence, but those are non-Bible-believers. They point to the violence of the non-Bible-believers in the dark ages, but those are non-Bible-believers.

They search for the odd case of a Bible-believer who has done something wrong, and then they hold up a big straight ruler to check to see if that person measures up. These, who are even less righteous than the scribes and Pharisees, are the great judges of the day. They are ungodly news casters, ungodly lawyers, ungodly politicians, ungodly teachers, professors, and scholars. Jesus says to them, as he said to the scribes and Pharisees:

... blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. Mat 23:24

By the way, believing in the Bible is not enough. It is not what salvation is about. Salvation is in this:

  1. Believe in Jesus, of whom the Bible teaches.
  2. Acknowledge your own sinful nature, confessing it and repenting of it.
  3. believing that Christ is the Son of God Whose sacrificial death is sufficient to pay the price of your sin.
  4. Accept His sacrifice and ask for forgiveness that is based on the blood of Jesus Christ.
  5. Commit your life to following Him and allow Him to make you a new creature.
