Yielding to or unifying with Evil Spirits: Necromency, Seances, Telekinesis, etc.  The methods for obtaining unity with evil spirits and terms used to describe these methods often change but the spirit and force behind these methods remains the same…an evil spirit.  Channeling is an occult technique where an individual temporarily allows a "spiritual entity" to enter and use their body so the spirit can communicate with humans.
