Pray for my child, the young widow said thru her interpreter. The Doctor said they would have to amputate his arm. We were at the compound in Andra Pradesh of our good brother GS John. The young widow had lost her husband, now her little child had an oozing green puss coming from deep within the wrist, dangerously near the bone. The Doctors said he needs an operation to clean out the wound, she said. But the cost was an insurmountable fortune for her, of $200.00 US dollars. We prayed for her,and for her son. We also gave the funds to out Bro GS John, who will personally take her to the hospital for the urgent surgery. Next year, I expect to see the child again, with both arms. I mention this short true story for one reason. Many of you have faithfully given to the poor fund, with never knowing the human side of who it reaches and touches.
