The kingdom of  God will not arrive on Air Force One no matter how good the president’s character or great his ability. Don’t get me wrong: Elections are important; the law is a moral teacher. But all the laws and political victories will not help us if we lose the culture. Our job is the same no matter who is in office: that is, to make serious disciples and to bring Christian truth to bear in all of life.

The systems of this world are crumbling.  Don't invest too much into them.  Socialism, Communism, Democracy, Republican government, Oligarchy, and Monarchy all will fall.  Establish the living Christ in your heart and in the heart of your brother and sister.  Where you find King Jesus you will find the Kingdom of God.  To the extent that King Jesus is allowed to rule and reign in your heart, you will find the Kingdom of God.

When you see the world tumbling down around you, seek the Kingdom of God.

When you see those who love evil trying to destroy the Church, seek the Kingdom of God.

When you see those who love evil attacking the followers of Christ, seek the Kingdom of God.

What the world needs is the Kingdom of God.  There is no earthly solution.
