Without Jesus, am I really dead, body, mind, and spirit?
Before we are saved:
- Body, mind, and spirit are in death.
- Body, mind, and spirit are in bondage to Satan until we are born again.
- Our natural father is Satan, himself. John 8:44
- We must be born into a new family, the family of God. John 3:3, 3:7, 1 Peter 1:23
- This new birth comes by the Spirit when God drops His faith into our hearts and we believe and trust Him for salvation through Jesus Christ. James 1:17, Ephesians 2:8, Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9
- We know that He saves us unto good works and not evil. Ephesians 2:10, 2 Timothy 3:17, Titus 1:16, 2:14,
- We know that the good works are actually the manifestation of Jesus Christ in His saints (believers). 2 Corinthians 9:8
- The believers don't earn salvation. Salvation delivers us from evil and delivers us to the Holy Spirit working in us. 1 Corinthians 15:10, 1 Corinthians 3:13, 1Corinthians 16:10, 2 Thessalonians 2:17, Hebrews 13:21, Galatians 2:20, Matthew 5:16, Romans 13:12
- Everyone who believes is a saint and is saved unto good works. Matthew 5:16, Romans 13:12
- Jesus, Himself, must do the works. 1 Corinthians 15:10, 1 Corinthians 3:13, 1Corinthians 16:10, 2 Thessalonians 2:17, Hebrews 13:21, Galatians 2:20
- The flesh has no part in it.
You can be one of those who is saved.
