What the Purpose of Life is and How We Can fulfill it
What the purpose of life is--Just look! Here is the purpose of life. Romans 8:28-29 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Many have questioned what the purpose of life is--or even whether life has a purpose. In the Scripture above, and in many others, God tells us plainly what the purpose of life is. God has a purpose, and His purpose is that we will be conformed to the image of his Son, Jesus. When we see Him, we shall see Him as He is, and we will be like Him. (1 John 3:2) As we all see Christ in each other, we are changed into that same image from glory to ever increasing glory by the Holy Spirit. (2 Cor. 3:18) That is what the purpose of life is. We must allow ourselves to be conformed to His image and come into submission to His love--to allow Him to express His love through us. We can't allow ourselves to be squeezed into the world's mold. We present our bodies as living sacrifices. We are transfigured by allowing our minds to be made new. (Romans 12:1,2) This is the only way to glorify God.
