There is a lot of talk about faith lately. In fact, all of evolutionary theory is based on one type of faith. Evolution isn't science. It is based on human faith--the make believe pseudo-faith of the New Age and Secular Religions. Many Christians try to approach God through human faith. There is a type of faith, though, that is far superior to make believe pseudo-faith. In fact, the difference is as sharp between the two types of faith as the difference between light and darkness.

The faith of God is different in substance and in authority from worldly faith.

• Worldly faith is merely presumption or self-confidence.
• The faith of God is a gift from God.
  • As with all spiritual gifts, it flows from the Father.
  • It is a substance. Specifically, it is the substance of things hoped for.
  • It is evidence. In fact, it is the very evidence of the things not seen. It comes by hearing, but not by hearing just anything. You must hear a word from God.
    
    Lately, we have been hearing more and more about the glorification of the human spirit. To a member of the New Age/Secular religions, the human spirit is the source of salvation. There is another Spirit that is available to any person who will receive Him. This Spirit is the Spirit of God; it is the Spirit of Christ. All of New Age/Secularism is led and empowered by the human spirit and evil spirits. All of those who are following Jesus Christ are led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

    39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

    Which Faith Will You Receive
    
    Which one will you receive?
    Human faith is blind.
    God's faith sees.
    Human faith comes from the human.
    God's faith comes from God.
    Human faith believes without evidence.
    God's faith is the evidence of things not seen.
    Human faith speaks lies.
    God's faith speaks the Truth.
    Human faith works with human hope,
    Human "I hope so" hope.
    God's faith works with God's hope,
    Eternal, abiding, sure hope.
    Human faith works with human love,
    Selfish, self-exalting love.
    God's faith works with God's love,
    Self-sacrificing, giving love.
    Human faith believes what it wants to be true.
    God's faith believes what God shows to be true.
    Human faith believes in such things as:
    evolution,
    global warming,
    safe immorality,
    changing the laws of God,
    human ways, human methods.
    God's faith believes in such things as:
    Forgiveness, healing and righteousness through Christ,
    Christ's sure coming,
    God's unfailing judgements,
    God's unchanging righteousness,
    God's ways, God's methods.
    Human faith opens the door to a relationship with the human mind.
    God's faith opens the door to a relationship with God.
    Will you choose the human faith,
    Or will you choose the faith of God.
    Which one will you receive?
