The apostles not only are the foundation built on Christ, the Chief Corner Stone, but they also lay the foundation. The members, the ministries in the local churches, build on the foundation that was laid by the apostles: 1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace [free gift, the ministry, the Anointing] of God which is given to me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Let God be true and every man a liar. Apostles are given the responsibility of protecting the entire flock of God from the attack of the enemy, but with so many voices in the world, each one claiming to be the one that should be listened to, how can you know? You are responsible to be close enough to God so that you can tell the difference between false apostles and real apostles. Read the complete
