| v.3-5 Apostles Declare |
|
The apostles declare to the churches those things that have been revealed to them. Note the outcome, the believers will then have fellowship with the Father just as the apostles have fellowship with the Father.
1 John 1:3-5 "That which we have seen and heard declare we to you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we to you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." Let God be true and every man a liar. Apostles are given the responsibility of protecting the entire flock of God from the attack of the enemy, but with so many voices in the world, each one claiming to be the one that should be listened to, how can you know? You are responsible to be close enough to God so that you can tell the difference between false apostles and real apostles. Read the complete
definition of "Apostle."
