1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

There is a need for teachers in the Church, but the Holy Ghost is the real teacher.  The Holy Ghost never contends with Himself.

In the present evil age, there are false teachers who are teaching just the opposite.  They are teaching that you don't really need the Holy Ghost since they, the false teachers, will teach you.  The teaching ministry is one of the four ministries that are given to the apostles.  The apostles are in place for safety in the Church. They equip the believer with all that they need so that the believers can build up the body of Christ to fulfill what God has for it as described in Ephesians 4:11-14.  However, you need to Holy Ghost to understand the teaching of the teacher and also to discern the difference between a false teacher and a true teacher.
