| v. 1 Doctrines of Demons |
|
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; There are seducing spirits. There are doctrines of devils. Some people listen to these demons rather than listening to God. And there are many ungodly counselors today who are teaching these very doctrines. Many of them are behind a pulpit. They are in the news media, in the universities, or among friends and acquaintences. They write articles that appear in newspapers and in magazines. They write books, fiction and non-fiction. They create movies and documentaries. This is an age during which the believers are learning discernment or else they are falling into all sorts of evil. Let God be true and every man a liar. Apostles are given the responsibility of protecting the entire flock of God from the attack of the enemy, but with so many voices in the world, each one claiming to be the one that should be listened to, how can you know? You are responsible to be close enough to God so that you can tell the difference between false apostles and real apostles. Read the complete
definition of "Apostle."
