One of the big mistakes that Christians have made is that they have not included Jesus in all that they do.  If you have a difficult task and you know a person, Jesus, Who knows everything and has all power, then why would you neglect to include your Friend in the task?  That would be just plain stupid, wouldn't it?  Of course, you may be a Christian who doesn't really believe in Jesus.  Maybe you don't have a real relationship.  Christianity is a cheap club to join.  All you have to do is say, "I'm a Christian."  On the other hand, those who have decided to follow Jesus have been changed.  Their entire outlook has changed.  They are not merely members of the club called Christian.  They are members of the Body of Christ.  They have passed from death to life.  They have contact with God continually.  They have access to power.  They have the free gift that allows them to do the right things and to do them the right way in the right Spirit.  They have everything that is needed for true success.  Sometimes, they don't realize what they have, and so they don't use what they have.  What a shame!

True success has to do with the application of wisdom, and there is no way that a human being can self-generate wisdom (Romans 1:28).  Wisdom is a gift (James 1:5-8).  Doing things right is also a gift (Romans 5:17).  True success consists of taking ground, holding ground, and untimately having total victory.
