As a Hindu I find this article highly offensive and straying from the core principles of Hinduism.

Comment:

As a Hindu I have been to church several times. I love God in whatever shape or form he may take.
I find your article laced with dislike for other religions - did Jesus not teach acceptance and respect? In my heart he did.

May God bless you.

This comment has been printed because it expresses the deluded view of so many people who are deceived by a clever lie regarding Tolerance .

It is important to realize that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost and Christ has no dislike of the people who are entangled in lies. Love reaches out to try to turn people from destroying themselves, and that is what SeekFind.net is doing in writing about Hinduism and other dangerous false religions.

The person making the comment above could love God if God just were not Who He is. However, God is exactly Who God is. He does NOT conform to my opinion of Him or your opinion of Him. The person making the comment above could love Christians, but only if Christians were not Christians. Satan is always willing to accept any religion except for pure religion. Satan is always willing to accept any god, except the Exclusive, True, Omnipotent, Eternal, Creator of the universe. The person making the comment above implies, "I am very open-minded to everything and anything and so everyone should be open-minded to everything and anything." In this case, this person goes so far as to try to re-design Jesus. The problem is that people who say such things are open to any lie. It is only the truth they hate. Because of the nature of truth, truth is exclusive. If you mix lies with truth, then it is no longer the truth. If you mix insanity with reality, then reality is no more reality but has become insane.

Should Christians follow the core principles of Hinduism and Relativism? Jesus teaches that any person who accepts the teachings of evil spirits is rejecting Him, Jesus. Is a Hindu who insists that Christians follow the core principles of Hinduism being accepting and respectful of other religions? Hinduism may teach acceptance, as this letter from a Hindu seems to claim. However, if this is the acceptance that Hinduism is teaching, then it is an acceptance that rejects the true Christianity and the true Christ while claiming to be accepting. In other words, Hinduism will accept Christians so long as they are not really following the real Christ. This is an interesting form of hypocrisy. The answer, below, tells what Jesus really teaches and why He teaches it. It would be instructive for Christian and Hindu alike to read such information.

  • Jesus taught and teaches that any person who accepts the teachings of evil spirits and human minds of this age is rejecting Him.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that whoever is a friend of this world is an enemy of God.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that anyone who rejects Him rejects His Father.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that whoever is not against Him if for Him and whoever is not against Him is for Him.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that He can be found.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that evil spirits (false gods) and human spirits (another form of false gods) will try to counterfeit Him, that false Christs will come, that false teachers will come, that false apostles will come.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that the false does not make the true any less true.
  • Jesus taught and teaches that the truth will set you free, but lies will put you in bondage.

The Human mind is corrupt. It is under the power of Satan. All religions are under the power of Satan as well. Walking with Christ is not a religion. It is a relationship with a person. The work of the Christian is to come out of the bondage to Satan and to come into the freedom to do the will of Christ. The first step is to listen to God's voice, to find His voice among all the other voices (our own minds, the minds of other people, the principalities and powers in the demonic spiritual realm) and to listen only to God. The promise from God is that whoever, Hindu, Jew, Christian, or whatever, will seek Him, they will find Him. They can only come to the Father through the Son. If this were not reality, then it would be a very closed-minded thing to say. Since, in reality, there is only this one Way to approach God, it is very closed-minded to say that there are other ways to approach God. In fact, to say such a thing is to fail to believe God and to prefer, instead, to believe all the other voices from all their evil sources.

When anyone listens to God as they hear Him make utterance, they hear His voice, that faith comes. Faith is supernatural belief. It is God's faith that is given as a gift. As soon as this faith comes, it opens the door to God's grace, His free gift. The Gift is actually God, Himself, the Holy Spirit. Wisdom flows in this anointing that comes from the throne of God. The first time that this happens, the human spirit is miraculously set free from most if not all bondage to Satan and is joined to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit ministers to the human spirit and the two, being joined, experience the life of the age to come. This is a particular type of life, which the Bible calls eonian life. When this joining takes place, that is commonly known as being born again. Before that day, Satan was your father and you were his slave. After that day, God is your Father and you are his slave, but you are set free from Satan in your spirit.

Your mind and body, however, are still captive to Satan to a large degree. That is why salvation is almost always spoken of in the future tense in the Bible.

So, God speaks, and you listen and faith comes, which gives you access into this Grace of God, and God's free gift--what a gift! Wisdom, righteousness, forgiveness, love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, meekness, inner strength, faith, hope, sanctification/holiness, redemption, and eonian life. These are all free and they come in this way, by grace, through faith. That is, faith comes by hearing the utterance of God and faith then gives us access into this grace. You can read about all of this in the Book of Romans in the Bible.

(some caveats about hearing God's Voice)

All of this would make no difference if that were the end of it. This is only the beginning, however.

When God's righteousness flows through, you have opportunity to yield your members to His righteousness rather than yielding to your own sin nature. If you will just believe God, He will begin to do His works through you. The love of God is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost. When you yield to the Holy Ghost, you are changed in some small way each time. You cannot stand in the presence of God and remain unchanged, just as you cannot stand in submission to the presence of an evil spirit or evil human spirit, or any of their representations in music, movies, art, incantations or any other manifestations and remain unchanged. The difference is that Jesus transfigures you from glory to glory toward eonian life, spirit, mind/soul, and body. Sin changes you by degrees of darkness toward death, body, mind/soul, and spirit. When we yield to the Spirit of God, we are changed in two ways. One is that we begin to become God's Holiness. The other is that we begin to become God's redemption--that is set-free person.

None of this is possible to accomplish in our own way. The very nature of redemption is to be set free from our own ways to serve God, which is the very thing that we were created for. God has a way, a pattern, a method for everything. His way is a called-out way. God's way is called out of this present evil age and all the influences of this present evil age. The word, "Church," means "called out." There are many things that are called the church that are not the called-out Church of God. They are counterfeits, fakes. We could name many of the disorders here, but suffice it to say that the Church fell away from God and lost most of what God originally gave it. Most of the Church continues to drift farther away from God. God works with a remnant to fulfill His ultimate will, and that is to reconcile everything back to Himself. That is what the Bible is addressing when it speaks of the restitution of all things.

So God continues to utter, and, for those who are submissive to Him, He leads. He leads to order according to His pattern. That leading will bring people to Spirit-led Churches governed by elders and deacons under the covering of apostles. The Holy Spirit will warn and guide away from false churches, entertainment churches, hollow and empty churches with nothing but form and ritual, social club churches, and such. The Holy Spirit wil lead away from Churches that do not deal with money in the way that Scripture indicates. Most people are aware of the abuses, the huge salaries, etc. Most people are unaware of such things as the actual local Church government of elders and deacons who are set in for life by apostles, traveling ministries. Most people have not seen that local elders and deacons receive no monetary reward. Most people are unaware of what it would even be like to be in a Spirit-led Church service, the pattern for which is clearly laid out in 1 Corinthians 14. And there are many other such things that could be said, but the point is this: God has a way to bring His work into completion. At the end of this age, and event will take place. For those who have been walking with Christ, it will be just one more step of this process of going from glory to glory. For the rest of the Earth, it will be a shock of the sudden unveiling of the sons of God. The Bible says that the entire creation is waiting on tip toe for the unveiling, the manifestation, the redemption of our bodies, the placing of mature sons of God into rulership position.

And even that is just a step in God's plan which eventually will reconcile all things to Himself through Christ Jesus. The reason that a follower of Christ is not receptive to other religions is because this is an either-or decision. The turn to something else is to turn one's back on God and His plan. To listen to another voice is to ignore the voice of God.

Here is God's Pattern:

God Speaks.

You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute [incapable of articulate speech] idols, however you were led. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:2-3
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by [the] word (literally utterance) [of] God. Romans 10:17
I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

This is the point at which you either see reality or you do not. This is the point at which you look into the totally complete law of liberty. James 1:22-25

James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like to a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled (the veil is the flesh) face beholding as in a mirror (those who have been created in the image of God) the glory of the Lord, are transfigured into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Literal
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass [a mirror], darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (Note that we now see in part, but as we walk from glory to glory, our senses are exercised by reason of use. The light becomes more clear to us. We see reality more clearly.)

You become what you see in the Spirit. When we see things as they really are, we see that we are born into Christ the Body, which is joined to Christ the Head. We have a sinful nature, but we are the Christ. When we forget this, we fall into sin. When we abide in this, it is because we maintain fellowship with the Father and the Son. We yield our mind, our soul, to the Holy Spirit, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us and fill us with power both to will and to do His good pleasure.

When a person is born again, they are drawn toward Christ by the Father until the day that they suddenly realize that they were created to be joined to Christ the Body (the Church) and Christ the Head. For those who have been born into the Church, you realize who you are in Christ, a member in particular in His Body. You identify with your ministry, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. You realize that your life makes no sense outside of the context of the Body of Christ. You also discern what is not of Christ, what is of the devil, and you avoid it like plague.

But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil. Proverbs 1:33
Then said they to him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5 Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion. Hebrews 3:15"

Then, God's faith comes by hearing. And His faith gives access to His grace.

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:2

Grace, the free gift of righteousness, does the works in us. You reap what you sow. You are transfigured from glory to glory into God's holiness and freedom from sin's slavery.
