The Second Law of Thermodynamics in Open and Closed Systems

Is it true that the Second Law of Thermodynamics applies only to closed systems? The Second Law of Thermodynamics has an impact on everything, not just heat. It is the law of entropy, the law of disorder. Things go into disorder. We never observe them going into order except if four conditions are met. Every example of increasing order that Evolutionists bring up is an example of an open system, an external energy source, an energy conversion method, and a plan/program by which to operate the conversion process. In other words, it is a system that is obviously created. There is no natural mechanism by which an energy conversion method, and a plan/program by which to operate the conversion process could have come into existence. Evolutionists have no explanation for this. They mostly start shouting slogans when these facts are brought up. Evolutionists have not valid reasons to defend Evolutionism when the Second Law Thermodynamics is brought up.

Some Evolutionists will claim that an open system with incoming energy can decrease entropy. First, no exception has been observed. Disorder decreased under very specific conditions only. Those four conditions that must be met are as follows: An open system, an external energy source such as the Sun, an energy conversion method such as photosynthesis in plants, and a plan/program by which to operate the energy conversion process such as DNA. An open system with an external energy source will by nature increase disorder even faster. An external energy source has no power to decrease disorder, that is, to increase order.

Here is a comprehensive definition of the Second Law of Thermodynamics: "In any ordered system, open or closed, there exists a tendency for that system to decay to a state of disorder, which tendency can only be suspended or reversed by an external source of ordering energy directed by an informational program and transformed through an ingestion-storage-converter mechanism into the specific work required to build up the complex structure of that system. If either the information program or the converter mechanism is not available to that 'open' system, it will not increase in order, no matter how much external energy surrounds it. The system will decay in accordance with the Second Law of Thermodynamics." ICR.org

If the Second Law of Thermodynamics did not work in this way, complex mechanisms would develop and would not fade away. Rooms would order themselves. Fences would never deteriorate. Leaving your car in the hot Sun would actually enhance and improve the finish. Metal would not rust.

Every example of increasing order that the Evolutionists bring up is an example of an open system, an external energy source, an energy conversion method, and a plan/program by which to operate the conversion process.

When Evolutionism was first introduced, it proposed several lies that could not be checked at the time. All of the lies, for instance, those lies that were told at the Scopes Monkey Trial have now been totally refuted, though, at the time, these were uncheckable lies. Advances in science have shown them to be lies, yet Evolutionists didn't abandon their story. They just changed some details and thought up new stories and left unanswered questions and used fascist tactics to silence anyone who told them that they were wrong. The Second Law of Thermodynamics is a perfect example of this. Most Evolutionists have no understanding of the concept and are unaware of the problem. Some claim, mostly in ignorance, that the Second Law of Thermodynamics operates only in closed systems, then refuse to discuss the matter further, resorting to slogans and shouting.

Those honest and knowledgeable enough to admit that the Second Law of Thermodynamics eliminates the idea of Evolutionism unless they can find a natural program and a natural energy converter, say that they will eventually find the natural program and natural energy converter. That is a belief that is pulled from the air. It is a belief based on desperation. Even if they could find an uncheckable lie, that would not make the lie true.

While the molecules-to-man evolution conjecture / fabrication cannot explain the Second Law of Thermodynamics, the Creation Model predicts it. The Second Law of Thermodynamics points to Creation and an fallen universe, just as the Bible declares.
