What was God's purpose? We don't presume to know this. God has not fully revealed it, and we dare not speculate. We do know some things. His purpose is to eventually restore the entire creation to Himself but in a way that it cannot fall. It will be different from when He first created it. It will abide in a much higher realm that cannot ever fall away again.

Think of the fact that the Church will be one with the Father and the Son in the same way that the Father and the Son are one. Consider that Christ the Head is the Groom and the Body of Christ is the bride. Consider the Scripture that says that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. God made man in His Own Image. Why didn't God make Eve from the dust? Why did she need to come out of the man to become joined again to the man?

The Holy Ghost is Holy. He cannot associate Himself with evil. We are evil by nature since the fall into sin. We inherit this from or ancestors who inherited it from Adam and Eve. The Word is Christ. He is the Light of the World. This Light shines on every person but does not dwell within every person because God is Holy. Christ paid the price, but that deliverance must be accepted. It is forced on no one. The Holy Spirit abides with every person who receives this deliverance from God through Jesus, the Christ. But, there is a further Anointing available, the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The church has not yet fully experienced this Anointing, though we have experienced it to some extent, and it is wonderful. These are simply steps on the Way (Jesus Christ) to the genuine and absolute fullness of Life that God has planned.

We will understand the immense wisdom of god in all of this at the Ages of the Ages.
