If you have not read Stories Versus Truth, you may want to read that before reading this.

You may hear a question something like this:

"I was reading in Genesis and it says:

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day."  Genesis 1:1-4

How was there light when the sun wasn't created until the 4th day?"

The answer to the first question is found  in Revelations 22 verse 5.

Here we are at the end of the story and look at this:  there again is no need for the Sun or any other light source.  "And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign to the eons of the eons."  Revelations 22:5

If you are going to try to help anyone find Christ, then you must remember that every thought, word, and deed has its origin in the spirit realm.  Every thought, word and deed either comes from the Holy Spirit or from Satan.  The Holy Spirit speaks through the church, the Bible, your conscience, and many other ways.  Satan speaks through the culture, the ungodly literature, the Bible (yes, Satan even quoted the Bible to Jesus, didn't he?), your conscience, and many other ways.  For this reason, expect to hear many clever lies.  Be patient and kind to the person who is struggling with, and often against, the truth.

The problem lies in the poor reasoning that springs from the mind of Satan.  People who give themselves over to Satan get into this type of bad reasoning.  Satan starts with the assumption that God does nothing.  A Secular Humanist would know this as the dogma of Naturalism.  From there, Satan sets out to prove that God does nothing or that God doesn't exist or that God is not what God is.  the deception is in the assumption that God is not there as the Light source.
