Meditation is one of God's methods by which he allows you to grow in the Spirit.
Meditation is not the same as worry. It is not a blanking of the mind or some sort of Yoga or TM mental exercise. Those are spiritually dangerous. In fact, Christian meditation requires an active and a focused mind--a mind focused on Jesus Christ. Seek the Lord with all your heart. You can meditate on the Word of God in the Bible. You can meditate on your prophecy that went over you when you were set into your ministry. (Every Christian has and is a ministry.) You can wait before the Lord, standing in His holy presence. You can meditate on the apostle's doctrine or edifying things such as Sharon Star publications, books, and camp tapes and mp3s.
