Although Atheists are busily trying to form some sort of argument against presuppositional apologetics, they are coming up with very poor rationalizations. This is only true because most people who use the term, presuppositional apologetics really mean revelational apologetics. However, Atheists are used to thinking by rationalizations rather than true logic, so it doesn't bother them to continue to liver according to rationalizations. Every single evidence that they use against God is based on some combination of made-up stories, arbitrary assumptions, irrational thoughts, or outright lies. They have nothing else. How could they? This is true of attacks against the Bible. It is true of belief in evolutionism. It is true of stories against the great worldwide flood. It is true of old Earth and old Universe stories. They may appeal to empirical (by experience) observation, but empirical (by experience) observation cannot be used against God in any sense unless they add some combination of made-up stories, arbitrary assumptions, irrational thoughts, or outright lies. Note, that they usually add to the observations without realizing they are doing so. The human mind is deceitful and desperately wicked.

Critics of presuppositional apologetics claim that it is logically invalid because it begs the question of the "truth" of Christianity and the non-"truth" of other worldviews. That is, they claim that presuppositional apologetics is circular reasoning. The reality is that all reasoning must be baseless unless it is based on revelation. More about this later under the heading of (Paradigms and Presuppositions.) However, pointing this out to the ungodly person is simply saying, "My reasoning is no worse than yours." It puts both on an equal footing. Satan is just pleased with that. That is why revelational apologetics is superior. Revelational apologetics deals with reality in a real way. Of course, most of what is erroneously called presuppositional apologetics is actually revelational apologetics.

A follower of Christ need not depend on presuppositions, arbitrary assumptions, irrational thinking, outright lies, or made-up stories. We have not followed cleverly designed fables, but that which we have seen, those things our hands have handled of the Word of Life, that is what we speak of. We are learning how to follow the real Christ. He leads us. He is not a theory or a theology. He is not an argument. He is the Truth/Reality. Reality is not affected in any way by arguments.
