It is human nature to desire to be significant and relevant. In a world where the church and religion have largely lost their relevance, we ask, "Why?" What happened that took away the relevance of the church? Actually, two things happened. First, Secularism, a virulent religion, has been on a campaign to marginalize the church for centuries, and they have been very successful in misrepresenting and marketing lies to Christians and non-Christians alike. Second, the church has failed to follow the precepts and patterns of Scripture, and that will always make the church irrelevant. If the church tries to be a poor copy of the world, it will be irrelevant (1 John 2:15-16). Let the church be the church, built according to the pattern that is plainly laid out in Scripture, and the church will become relevant. Let the church begin to add to Scripture or take away from Scripture through human rationalizations, and the church will become irrelevant. Human thinking is flawed.

Let's go on to deeper depths and higher heights, seeking and finding a relationship with Jesus that has relevance in every aspect of every part of our lives. Let us come to know Jesus, come to know God. We are not concerning ourselves with some sort of theoretical knowledge but rather acquaintance and intimacy with God (Proverbs 3:6). Every other method of trying to find significance in your life is a mirage--a deception. This is the only way to find your significance. It addresses complete redemption of all three parts of our beings: spirit, soul, and body.
