| v. 5 Obedience Is a Gift |

Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: God gives grace, His free gift, for the purpose of allowing us to be obedient to His faith, and this is all for His name. The word, grace, means, "free gift." Righteousness is a free gift. Obedience, righteousness, and love are all synonyms if you truly understand.
