Romans 8:18 There Is A Glory That Will Be Revealed [unveiled] In Us. Any Suffering Is Of No Significance In Comparison.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed [Apokalupto: removal of a veil] in us.

There is a glory that will be revealed in us. That is God's plan just as His Word says, and nothing will stop Him from doing it. Any suffering is of no significance in comparison.

What Is This Glory?

God's intention was that we be endued with Power from on high after the Holy Ghost comes upon us, after we are overwhelmed and submerged in a baptism of the Holy Spirit, and that He would be like a mighty rushing river of water gushing out from us with Power for holiness, love, peace, wisdom, light, understanding, knowledge, joy, patience, and the glory of God. That is just the start. The fullness of it is something that we will need to experience to understand. That glory, the glory of God, is so high that it is quite beyond our ability to imagine. The human mind is very limited. Lies become filters that filter out the glory of God and hearing His voice. Truth sets us free. The glory of God is God Himself unveiled in His believers. Believers are those who believe Him rather than believing all the voices of this eon or the voices of their own fleshly minds. He gives us freely of Himself if we will receive Him. We are helpless without Him. We were created to have His Spirit flowing through us with power constantly, and our spirits, minds, and bodies in total submission to Him. We were created to have Him directing and doing His works through us as we yield in intimate submission to Him.

This has a wide application over our entire walk with Jesus. In any moment, we can listen to Jesus or to our flesh. As Jesus continued in the next chapter, He spoke about removing the beam from our own eyes before trying to remove a speck from our brother's/sister's eye. I believe that that beam is not discerning the Body of Christ. If we cannot see that our brother or sister is part of this wonderful Body of Christ, then we are truly blind, not discerning the Body. How could we minister anything to anyone in such a condition. This discernment that comes from the Holy Ghost will help us see the difference between a true servant of God and a wolf in sheep's clothing. By this, we receive an understanding that there is no part of the pattern for the Church in Scripture that is "out of date" in the way that some false teachers say that it is out of date: "That was for the apostolic age, but it no longer applies today."

God reveals what we need, but no more than we are willing to walk into. God will continue to unveil the answer to this question as we walk into His glory. As we walk a little, He unveils a little. We have to want to receive it from Him. This is but one sentence in a letter to the Romans. It must be read in context. And Romans is but just one small part of the Bible and must be taken in the context of the entire Bible. In addition, this is a spiritual principle, a Kingdom principle, so it cannot be comprehended by the natural mind. God will need to unveil it to us, so we must continue in prayer so that He will pull back the veil from our souls, our minds.

Since we understand the things just stated, we can make a few very simple statements. First, when God imparts His glory, He is imparting His nature. He is imparting Himself. The veil that He draws back is the veil of the fleshly nature. That which is imparted must be imparted. We don't have any of His glory until we are born again though He shines His light on every person. When we are born again, we only have a seed of this glory, and we are called to make increase of it. As we make increase of it, the veil of the flesh is taken away--this is revelation. There will be a day of the complete unveiling, and this is mentioned in Romans 8:19. Many have gone into a lot of unhelpful speculation regarding this day, but God has revealed enough. Our minds really don't yet have the capacity to comprehend the magnitude of this event, but it will become more clear as we approach the Throne.

There was a woman who had hands laid on by the presbytery and they prophesied and imparted spiritual gifts to her. She was told, in prophecy, that God had put His glory into her hand and that she would impart it to many. She didn't understand what this glory was, so she thought that she didn't know what she was supposed to do. At the same time, every Christian is given the glory of God, just as the talents of gold were given to the three stewards. Two were faithful with that gold. One steward was not. Keep in mind that gold is a type of deity.

Regarding the impartation of the gold, it would be good to go back to the basic beginnings and unveil what really happens when you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior. First, God speaks to you. He is always the first mover. He speaks to your heart through some means. We are told that most people are introduced to Christ by a friend or a relative. We know that no one comes to Christ unless the Holy Spirit moves on them. So, by some means, God speaks to them. faith. Click here to learn more." href="http://www.SeekFind.net/Bible_Dictionary__Define_Faith__Definition_of_Faith.html">Faith is belief and trust, but not rationalized belief. It is supernatural ability to believe God instead of believing deceptive spirits and voices of the present eon. When the first faith comes, the person is born again. The Bible is clear that we are three-part creatures: spirit, mind/soul/heart, and body. We are born again in the spirit. Our spirits are joined to God's Spirit. We begin to worship in spirit and in truth. We are redeemed in our spirits but not in our minds and bodies, at least not fully. We still struggle with a sinful nature. (some caveats about hearing God's Voice)

We are encouraged to hear God's voice while it is called today, during this present eon. When we hear His voice, faith comes from God. It is God's faith, not our own. When that faith comes, it gives us access into the free gift (grace) of God. (read more) Grace is given. It is a free gift. It is the glory of God. God is love. It is His love. Jesus Christ is our righteousness. Any real righteousness in us is His righteousness. This is what happens when we are born again, and it is what happens moment by moment after we are born again. This is building on the Rock instead of the sand. (read more) This is how we walk in the Spirit. (read more) This is how we keep step with the Spirit. (read more)

Our part is to receive this salvation. John 20:22 Our part is in not being contentious, not arguing with God or trying to help Him or do self-generated good works for Him. (read more) Our part is to yield the members of our bodies to Him and allow Him to think His thoughts, say His words, and do His works through us. (read more) We must labor to enter His rest. (read more) We must refrain from trying to establish our own righteousness and rest in God's righteousness. (read more) Then, God begins to do the work in you as you learn to yield. (read more) (read more) (read more) (read more) (read more) The way is very narrow. (read more) The narrow way will lead to the Pattern. God laid out the pattern in Scripture. He called the pattern, the Church. The word, Church, means the called out, called out of this eon's systems and called into the orders and patterns that are clearly laid out in Scripture. Yet, His people have turned from His pattern. They left His pattern long ago because they preferred to follow their own ways. God has been restoring His pattern over hundreds of years, because no one will attain to the glory of God by following their own ways. There are many religious works that will be burned up because they are wood, hay, and stubble. Many people are working very hard without the leading of the Holy Spirit. They ran but were not sent. The way is very narrow. (read more)

Every time that you allow God to do His works through you, you are showing forth the glory of God. All of this is for a purpose, though. It is not to showcase your ministry or any such thing. It is that you would be conformed to the image of Jesus so that you can be fit into your place in the Church. (read more) The Church is the means that God is using to conform you to the image of His Son. And the Church will be the fulfillment of the Manifestation of the Sons of God. That will be the adoption, which is the redemption of our bodies. (read more) Then we will be able to stand in the evil day.

Each time that we yield to the Spirit of God, we are changed in our very nature. God creates in us a clean heart. (read more) Good seed is planted. (read more) The good seed that had been planted previously is watered. A little of the flesh dies. (read more) This seed grows up and changes what we are. It changes us to be like Jesus. Righteousness is in the moment. It is God doing His work through you. But it plants seeds that become part of you. It softens the soil of your heart, your soul, your mind. It breaks up the stony ground. It plows the weeds and thorns (lies) under. (read more)

Holiness is something that you are. It is faithfulness or stability. It is sanctification. Holiness is progressive and the things of this present eon have less of a hold on you as you become a child of the eon to come. (read more) And you are also set free. You are redeemed from the tendency to sin. (read more) This is a step-by-step process. The path of the just is as a shining light that grows brighter and brighter until the totally complete day. (read more) As we all with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the Lord as if in a mirror, we are transfigured into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. (read more) No amount of self-effort could ever do this, but the Spirit of the Lord can do it as we yield to Him.

The final day will take place when we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God. Then we will rise as one totally complete man, Christ the Head and His Body. This will be the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4) Blessed and holy are those who take part in the first resurrection. (Revelations 20:5-6) The foolish virgins will not take part, since they were born again but refused to yield, refused to invest their talent of gold (deity), refused to grow up into Christ. (Matthew 25) They said that they were rich but did not know that they were wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. (Revelations 3:14) It will likely be a remnant of those who were called, but they will the the called, chosen, and found faithful. (Revelations 17) The implication, when the Bible speaks of the first resurrection, is that there will be more than one resurrection; however, God chose not to tell us much about that. He has concentrated His efforts on the remnant, those who will hear His voice and yield to Him--those who will not contend with Him.
