The Tactic of DiscriminationThe tactic of discrimination occurs when systematic discrimination limits those in control of an organization (that claims to be neutral) to only those who are sympathetic to a certain point of view. Discrimination is used to control organizations or to try to indicate that those who are discriminated against are less worthy as people. It is normal for the Atheist society to limit their leadership to Athiests or the Christian society to limit their leadership to Chistians. This is not a tactic. When a government school that teaches all children begins to discriminate against openly Christian teachers, or a governmental organization begins to discriminate against openly Christian workers, this is a tactic for control of the power that is wielded by people like teachers or government workers. Christian teachers and workers are just examples of people who pose no threat but are discriminated against. There are others who are also discriminated against, often illegally. Examples of the Tactic of DiscriminationNon-whites being considered only for low-level jobs, then using the fact than most high-level positions are filled by whites as proof of white superiority. Exercising discrimination against anyone holding a certain a view (for instance, non-leftist politics, creation, young Earth) in hiring and appointments and then using the fact that most people hired or appointed hold the favored view as evidence of the superiority of the favored view. For instance, it is very difficult to get tenure in most universities unless you hold certain beliefs about politics, creation, the age of the Earth, homosexuality, morals, the Bible, etc. Christians being passed up for promotions simply because they are Christians, keeping the organization (news organization, governmental organization, corporation, etc.) in the power of non-Christians. Creationists being discriminated against for tenure on college campuses. Christian students being discriminated against in grading by professors who are aware of their faith. ![]()
