Bible Dictionary: Define Miracle, Definition of Miraclesomething that is different. a sign. the power to perform a miracle. Reality is just the opposite of the arbitrary assumption known as Naturalism. Naturalism says that all things (or most things) happen from natural causes. There is not spiritual realm--and if there is a spiritual realm, it has no impact on the "natural" world. Just the opposite is the case. We know, by revelation, that God created everything from nothing in six days. And we know, by revelation, that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was involved in all of these, since all things were created through Him. We also know, by revelation, that Jesus Christ enforces all of what we call the laws of nature. He holds everything together moment by moment. A miracle is God doing something a little bit differently as a sign to the unbelievers. This is what happened when God created the Heavens, Earth, seas, and everything in them in six days. This what happened when Joshua commanded the Sun to stand still. This is what happened when the donkey spoke to the prophet. This is what happened when Elijah and Elisha performed miracles. This is what happened when Jesus performed miracles. This is what happened when Jesus rose from the dead. This is what happened when Jesus ascended into Heaven. This is what happened every time the apostles performed miracles. This is what happens every time any Christian performs a miracle or receives an answer to prayer. There is no rational Natural explanation for anything, since Christ is always the One Who is enforcing the physical laws. What we can observe, using scientific method, makes this plain. God reveals Himself through what can be observed using scientific method. There is nothing outside of His control. Sometimes, He does something different. We call that a miracle. It should be noted that there is something that is falsely called "science" or "knowledge" that is not based on what can be observed but is based on arbitrary assumptions. These assumptions, beginning with Naturalism [the assumption of no God], Materialism [the assumption of no God], and Uniformitarianism [the assumption of no flood], are used to interpret the observations. This greatly limits science, causing it to be less of a blessing than it could be. Advances would be much greater if the scientists were to acknowledge God rather than assuming logical fallacies. 04159 mowpheth mo-faith’ or mopheth mo-faith’
