Election

Definition:

setting or ordination.

Warning:

There is nothing in the Bible about unconditional election.  There is nothing in the Bible about reprobation or predestination to damnation.  There is nothing in the Bible that would warrant a fatalistic doctrine.

Some have taken the Biblical concept of elections far beyond what is indicated in the Bible.  They have turned it into a doctrinal construct that adds to Scripture and denies many parts of Scripture.  It adds to Scripture and takes from Scripture.
