Faith, Hope, and Love are the three eternal elements that go into the eternities. Why is it that educated, famous, Christian teachers don't have a clue about these three important spiritual entities. They can't seem to grasp the concept that there is a difference between the carnal and the spiritual.

As I edit this page, I am remembering a big-name Christian radio personality talking about hope. He said that hope was a good thing. He hoped that it would not rain tomorrow. He hoped for a number of similar things. Then, without taking a breath, he said that he hoped to go to heaven one day. What he did not know is that true hope is a gift from God. Faith comes when we hear God's voice. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the utterance of God. Along with God's word is a vision of God's hope. God's hope is a peeling back of the blindness of the veil of our sinful flesh so that we can see the vision of the wonderful things that He is doing and is going to do. This allows us to go through tremendous trial since we know that it is all worth it. This keeps us going when everyone around us is trying to discourage us. It is not a hope for our own goals and desires. It is a hope for God's purpose and the fulfillment of the glory that shall be revealed in us.
