John 18:36 The Kingdom of the Heavens

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

The word, "world," in this verse, is translated from the Greek, Kosmos.  Kosmos is an order or an arrangement.  God's order is not like worldly orders.  When churches try to emulate worldly orders to govern their church, they become organizations.  Man's order is disorder to God, and God's opinion is the only one that matters.  Man's order makes the church irrelevant to the Kingdom of the Heavens.  Man's orders will fade away.  People may use these precepts of man to enhance their pride, power, prestige or pocket book, but the precepts of man are a distortion of what God had intended.  Generally, these human-designed kingdoms or democracies that call themselves churches are focused on the presentation and the ability to persuade.  The Holy Spirit must draw anyone who will be a part of the first-fruits company, however.

The Kingdom of the Heavens is not of the current order of the world.  It is the real reality and adds another dimension to anyone who will receive the Kingdom of the Heavens.  However, you must have spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear anything that pertains to the Kingdom of the Heavens.  You must be born again to have eyes and ears to see and hear.
