The mind of Christ, what is it? Here, we could call it the attitude of Christ. His attitude was to lay down His soul life, and His will. He was in the form of God. That is to say that He is God, but He laid down all His rights. If we have the same attitude, we lay down all our rights. We don't claw for equality, especially not equality with God. Jesus took up His cross. We must be willing to suffer with Him and to be made of no reputation and to become servant of all. This is not a popular message in the hedonistic church that is looking to minimize any personal suffering and maximize pleasure, but those are the ones who are lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery [ought to be grasped at] to be equal with God: Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
