Wash Each Other With the Word (poem)

I just want to share the words of a song with you.   At the close of the Sunday morning service at the North Battleford Young People's gathering, Bro. Brian Hannigan exhorted everyone to "wash each other with the Word", in all our conversations, e-mail communications, letters, etc. His words had a great impact on me, and immediately I felt that the Lord was going to give a song that would express this.   Later that night, these words dropped into my heart, and I share them with you to encourage us all to speak words of life to each other.   May God Bless you and make you a blessing.

Wash each other with the Word of the Lord
Speak words of life each day
Let its cleansing, healing power
Flow through all we say
To encourage and edify
Comfort and strengthen the weak
Wash each other with the Word
Let it cleanse and set us free

In Christ's love,
