Wisdom and Reality The Kingdom of the Heavens is the real reality. Reality and truth are alternate words for the same thing. Christ is Truth. The real Body of Christ is Truth. All that keeps us in bondage is untruth--lies. We are in the process of growing in discernment between the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. Our fleshly nature thinks that we have a valid identity outside of the Body of Christ. The reality is that we do not. Our fulfillment and identity is in the Christ in us who is joined to every member and Christ the Head of the Body and the Father. God desires that we live a fulfilled life and a relevant life. For this fulfilled and relevant life, we must have the Truth. Wisdom is the principle thing. (Prov 4:7) Wisdom consists of righteousness, sanctification, and redemption from a practical standpoint. (1Cor 1:30) These are the three stages or states that build on each other. Righteousness is in the moment and is the work that God does through you. By the righteousness that God does through you, He changes what you are. Holiness is stability and is what you are becoming. Redemption is the fullness of having Christ in you and you being in Christ. When it is complete, it is the full maturity and unity of the Body of Christ and Christ, the Head of the Body. We could say it this way: God has a process to have us grow up into Christ. God's way is through the Church, the true Body of Christ. God's process is by the Holy Spirit. It is by the free gift of wisdom. Wisdom moves from taking spiritual ground from the enemy to holding ground and finally moving on to total victory. Wisdom is going from doing right things right by God's Spirit to being set free from bondage and entering into ever-increasing stability of mind and action, and then going on to final complete fulfillment, which is total redemption. Let's first examine righteousness, sanctification, and redemption quickly, and then go into more detail on how God is moving us along. Righteousness consists of God leading us and us following. The problem is that we have no capacity within ourselves to follow God. So God has a way to give us the free gift of righteousness. God's method is "by grace through faith. Click here to learn more." href="http://www.SeekFind.net/Bible_Dictionary__Define_Faith__Definition_of_Faith.html">faith," and this is the process. 1. God speaks. God has already prepared our heart to receive and hear. 2. When we hear, 3. God's faith comes. 4. God's faith gives us access into God's grace (free gift). God has, by this point, prepared our hearts to 5. receive and submit (let go) our beings to God's free gift of righteousness (rather than setting about to establish our own righteousness. 6. Finally, God thinks His thoughts, says His words, and does His works through us. All of this happens very quickly each time it happens. Each time we obey, it lifts us higher. If we let our flesh try to help or contend with God in this process, then we frustrate the grace of God.
(some caveats about hearing God's Voice) Holiness is progressive. It is a change in what we are. It is a basic change in our very nature. When we allow God to move in righteousness, it changes what we are. We become like Him. The Anointing, the Holy Spirit, cleanses us as it flows though us as long as we submit to the Anointing. This changes what we are. This change is the anointing of being or becoming, and it is sanctification and holiness. We are changed and we have stability, which is faithfulness. Redemption is also progressive. We are now redeemed. Our spirits have a great communion with the Holy Spirit. However, there is much more to come. The manifestation is seen in the gifts of the Spirit, but there is a coming manifestation of the sons of God and the redemption of our bodies that is beyond our ability to comprehend in our current state. We all need to discern and see the Body of Christ. We see all the gifts, ministries, offices, and orders of the Church. We also can discern and recognize the false. We must continue to press toward the mark of our very high calling in Christ Jesus. We make progress as we discern the Body of Christ and walk in submission to His Spirit. "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption" (1Cor 1:30 NIV) So we partake of the free gift of righteousness by grace through faith. And the righteousness that is by grace through faith changes us in our very nature. That is holiness. Discerning the Body of Christ is central to this sanctification. This will finally lead us to total redemption; the last to be redeemed is our human bodies. (Rom 8:18-23)
