An optimist says his cup is still half full; a pessimist declares it half-empty. The optimist is as often wrong as the pessimist but is far happier. You can't damage a smile by cracking it. It isn't your position that makes you happy or unhappy; it's your disposition. Much happiness is overlooked because it doesn't cost anything. Keep your face to the sun and the shadows will fall behind. A smile is a curve that can set many things straight. A smile is a language that even a baby understands. Happiness is not a station at which you arrive but a manner of traveling. Happiness is not given but exchanged. The city of happiness is in the state of mind. The best angle to approach a problem is from try angle. The trouble with some of us is that in trying times we quit trying.
