Will Christ return?

Yes, Christ shall return.  This is not to be confused with His coming in the form of His abiding presence (parousia).  We have His presence now, but that experience is to continue to grow.

Acts 1:11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come (Greek: erchomai meaning come) in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

Matthew 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming (Greek: erchomai meaning come) on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

When the last enemy is defeated, Jesus will return.  The last enemy to be defeated is death.

Act 3:21  [Jesus] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

1 Corinthians 15:24-28  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he  [Jesus] must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.   The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.   And when all things shall be subdued to him, then shall the Son also himself be subject to him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Hebrews 2:8-9  Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.   But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
