1 Therefore seeing we have this office of service and administration, as we have received mercy, we are not worn out; 2 But have given up the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the utterance of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth presenting Him in ourselves to every person's conscience in the sight of God. * 3 But if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those who are lost: 4 In whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them. 5 For we don't proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and we are your servants by means of Jesus. 6 For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our innermost minds, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this Treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellence of the Power may be of God and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the genuine and absolute fullness of life also of Jesus might be made visible in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered into death for Jesus' sake so that the genuine and absolute fullness of life also of Jesus might be made visible in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death works in us, but genuine and absolute fullness of life in you. 13 We having the same spirit of supernatural belief and trust, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He Who raised the Lord Jesus up shall also raise us up by Jesus and shall present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes so that the abundant divine power for righteousness, holiness, and redemption might, through the thanksgiving of many, overflow into the glory of God. 16 For which cause we aren't worn out, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light distress, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding weight of glory of the Kingdom Age; 18 While we don't look at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen, for the things that are seen are temporary; but the things that are not seen are of the Kingdom Age.

2 Corinthians 4:1-2 The ministry that we have is the Anointing of the Holy Spirit on us. It is not the fleshly nature. The same is true of offices.
