2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

It is natural to resist the truth.  Every person is a decedent of Adam, and Adam made himself and his descendants slaves to Satan by obeying Satan.
